First registered before 2016

We don't calculate NoVA for cars first registered before 2016 (our CO₂ data starts in 2016), and there's no dossier for them. Please use the Austrian Ministry of Finance's free calculator (in German). You'll need the CO₂ value (NEDC; on the COC, the Certificate of Conformity, or in field V.7 of the German registration certificate), for cars first registered before March 2014 also the fuel consumption in l/100 km, and the price without the 19% German VAT (price ÷ 1.19). From a private seller, at least the car's Eurotax value counts.

As with any import, add roughly €700 for the plates, the Pickerl inspection, the database entry and registration.
